2 SFA confirmations - CoasterBuzz

1) A sign posted at the entrance to Joker's Jinx says in essence that the ride will reopen when the modified trains return for your riding pleasure.2) Batwing finally reclines on the lift, as was originally intended.

How did the reclining on lift help dispatch times? Did people think something was wrong when they didn't recline in the station? Thaks for the fill in!

I heard from Sam Marks that Joker's Jinx should be operating by Memorial Day. We later on confirmed this with a park exec and he agreed, but "With fingers crossed"!

That the trains didn't recline on the lift didn't help with dispatch times, and I actually kind of miss the loud screams. But it's more comfortable not to have the sun in your eyes traveling to the lift hill. No one seemed to react any different to it. You have to remember that a lot of people didn't get to ride last year either because of the late opening or the lines.

Now, why would trains reclining on the lift not improve loading times? If they can run three trains now, the extra 15 seconds gained by not reclining and dispatching trains in the station can be vital...

GC, let's let the two Vekoma engineers finish the third train first. You're right though, it might save a few seconds.

JJ will be VASTLY improved....and Sam is pretty trustworthy in that he gets the story straight from the horses' FRONT end, so to speak...

As far as the Dutchmen are concerned, it seems to me that improvinng capacity really depends on one thing...running BOTH stations. Tilting the seats back on the lift, running a third train...help, not an immense amount...eliminating the multiple queues probably would help more...
