2 Revlews?

Presumably some of you have had the software for awhile. So what so you think?

I downloaded the demo late one night and played around with it for a few minutes. I think I only looked at the Voyage-inspired woodie. Then I forgot I had downloaded it.

Looked great, but I wish I wanted to drop 45 bucks for it when I'm not sure I'm going to use it. I was a huge fan of the first one, but as with most coaster-related stuff, I'm just not as into it anymore.

I can't sit in front of my computer and bang out a NoLimits roller coaster like I used to. I can play coaster related games for about 20 minutes now, then I get bored, and move on to surfing the web or something else.

I've developed an appreciation for old school wooden coasters lately, and their history, design and changes over the years, but my interest has slipped a lot, too. It's amazing how we've all changed/growed up around here.

I guess we should stop chasing the annoying kids off the site, or there won't be anyone left to visit CoasterBuzz!

I don't think us elderly folk are going anywhere anytime soon. I like that we can talk about restaurants, hotels and other life experiences here. :)

We've all kind of "grown up" together.

I can't wait to buy my next house - new kids to yell at to get off my lawn!

I'm glad those kids are gone, I don't trust 'em. They're gonna come in here everyday and tie big bows on our heads and we won't know it.

No Limits 2 is a huge, huge improvement over 1.

I have been playing NL1 since the original demo days and I consider myself quite good at it. I am very good at making very smooth rides without the use of side tools (although the heartlining tool was nice...)

But rides took a lot of time, especially to make them smooth. I lost interest in the game the last year or two because of it, with my more busy schedule.

But still, I was planning on buying NL2 regardless... And it really has re-peaked my interest in the game. Rides are MUCH easier to make smooth, and the interface and everything is incredible. I can make solid recreations and other rides in 1/4 of the time and be far smoother than anything I could have done prior. I can again just casually play for an hour or two and end up with a really awesome ride. I no longer have to spend days to do the same with NL1 to reach my standards on smoothness and element shaping. NL2 makes the process 1000% better.

Not only is that improved, but the graphics are stunning. I can't say good enough stuff about NL2. I am just waiting for the B&M wing style now... :) I have a Gatekeeper recreation that would love to use them, but currently using the 4D trains reversed... It works, but yeah.

One of the things I really enjoy about 2 is the new support setup. The extent to which you can customize them is awesome.

And like you've said, the time it takes to make a complete ride has been drastically reduced. I've made 2 coasters in one day thanks to all the new features. I could go all day about what I like about it but it make just as much sense to say everything about it is awesome. :)

I'd also like to see some of your creations Steve.

That you ever had to work so hard in the first place was why I rejected the first version. That, and the apologists who insisted it wasn't a software problem.

Hahaha! I would like to see some general public kids on this site. They wouldn't like to see Millennium Force ALL the way at number 4.
