12th Annual Internet Wood Coaster Poll underway

Posted | Contributed by Mitch Hawker

2004 saw new wood coasters in New Jersey, Wisconsin, Tennessee, and Denmark all opening to positive reviews. Now that the 2004 roller coaster season is winding down, take a few moments to let your opinions on those new rides (or others that are just new to you) be counted. A web-form ballot has been added to the traditional text ballot to encourage new voters to participate.

Steel Coaster Fans: the companion steel poll is set to begin on the 15th.

The web form is a nice touch, but once you do the text ballot, you'll see the web form is harder than just doing it by hand.
I just used the Web form, the text one seems to annoying...

I keep my previous year's ballot so when the new poll is announced all I have to do is add the new coasters where they fall, make any other changes in ranking needed, and send it in. It takes me about 5 mins.

A nice font, aligned columns, and clearly divided sections would make that ballot a much better experience. I can't even imagine filling that thing out.
I can't imagine filling it out either. That's why I filled it in instead. ;)
And there is unspeakable wisdom in that mentality, millrace! Bravo.
Good turn out on ballots so far, Let's go for a record. The more ballots, The better and more accurate overall the poll is.
