Then we decided to go to Thunderbolt...20 minute wait, 7/10...Ride operator was kind of a jerk but fun ride...Seat belt was a little tight...Last row...
Decided not to ride SCREAM today but there were several SFNE guys standing around the old Hellovator while one guy was 1/4 of the way up standing on the car which was like 20 feet off the ground...
We then went to Flashback...WALK ON...we rode twice...one in the 4th row and once in the first row...Good ride, no head banging...8/10
Then CYCLONE...and wow there was NO WAIT.. straight to the station I was so happy...got a second to last seat ride and it was great and then rode again in the last seat and its so fun, violent but fun, I hate that last trim though 9/10
The Fright Fest decor was amazing... I loved it, even watched some shows like the pirate one near ship wreck falls, the kiddie show near flashback, and the creature feature near the big restaraunt in Crack Axle Canyon...And that is the best place to eat @ SFNE...I got the BBQ BEEF SANDWICH...for $11 you get one hell of a meal...But in the summer they had really good fries but today they had regular fries, kind of weak...Anyways then went to Tomahawk...awsome ride today 9/10...seemed longer then usual..Rodeo's line was huge so skipped it but I was glad to see it open.
Then Houdini, I cant get over the beutiful themeing in that ride...Amazing...8/10 10 minute wait
Then we went to BuzzSaw... 9/10...great ride and then rode later on and ended up being my last ride of 2003...
Area 51 is awsome...i love the theming...no one wanted to ride twister so I had to skip it...
Then we went on Kontiki 7/10 walk on
Then we went by ME and wow huge line and only 1 train op, didnt ride it today, nor did I ride Chaos, Dbl Trouble, or Collosus...we waited 35 mins for Batman...
For the first time ever they were letting you wait for what ever row you wanted...There was no one gaurding the area were you usually get assigned to a row..Very cool...ride itself in the first row 8.5/10
Then after that we went to Spider, I never walked in that area before and wanted to check it out...That ride is in better shape appearance wise then 1/2 the rides in the park...It has nice black shiny paint...And they need to open that bridge near the ride. I dont understand why its not, but that path is a mess, litter and leaves like 1 foot deep.
We then walked around and rode Poison Ivy...7 min wait...6/10...nice fun ride for a family coaster
Then it was around 4:30 and we got in line for S:ROS...we waited 45 mins and got front row...it was no PITCH BLACK and my first ever ride in the front...and WOW it was awsome 10/10 Indescribable...so awsome...
Then we walked around a little, visited some stores and just hung out then went on Buzzsaw which ended up being my last ride...it was about 7:30 and we got in line for S:ROS which was going to be our last ride...line moved very slowly and eventually stopped... The ride broke down...so we waited and waited and a blue train full of people were stuck on the brakes for like 20 mins...The red train was eventually put on transfer tracks and blue tested a few times and eventually took 3 loads of people then broke down again I guess? Eventually people were getting pissed and people were yelling and people in the station started sayin its closed, they cant fix it and it seemed as if a mass riot was going to break out...I was patient and waited and waited and got screwed basically...The ride was closed the rest of the night...
Overall good day...and I got there fast and easily and only got lost once briefly on the way home...Overall day rating 8/10...certaintly not my best day @ SFNE but it was average I suppose...
