100th coaster - CoasterBuzz

Are you talking just 100 in your life? Or one year? I've hit 54 so far this year, and will probobly get on another 20+ with my 2 day trip to CP next week. As for my life time total, I'm not sure (just started counting this year), but it'd probobly be over 100.

Also do you count diffrent coasters, or repeats. As in if you ride MF twice is that considered 2, or just one?

I think we're talking about 100 different coasters (the only things that count twice are clones in different locations). Has anyone ever managed 100 different coasters in a year? I'm sitting somewhere in the mid-90s right now (in the last calendar year I mean - I was in Florida in December), but with summer drawing to a close, I doubt I'll hit 100 different in a year this year.

100 different coasters in a year, or 100 'new to me' coasters in a year?

I easily rode 100 different coasters between March 2002 and March 2003, but not 100 that were new.

I was sayin 100 different ... 100 new? That would be quite a feat - Of those 90 some I hit though, probably a good 80 to 85% of them were new to me, so I did quite well this year. Maybe I'll have to strive for greatness during the Halloween weekends ... wow, I need to go into the de-geek-ifier for a few minutes I think ... it's gettin bad ...

I hit the big 100 this summer. My 100th coaster is Vertical Velocity at SFGAM.

argh, I rode 49 different coasters from July 2003-July 2003, I would have had 50+ if I went to California in August (August 02-August 03) but we canceled it so we can go to Europe next year. My mom said we can prob to go alton towers or thorpe though :-)

[edit: I rode 49 different rides, I got about 40 rides in one day alone at cedar point, and I went there twice during that 1 year period. Total coasters, including repeats, would deffinatly be over 100]

I did 90 "new" coasters in a one year period from May 4, 2002 through April 17, 2003. Counting prevuiously ridden coasters I did 122 in that period.

#50 - Gold Rush (Wild Adventures)

#100 - Batman The Ride (SFGAdv)

#150 - Hurler (Carowinds)

#200 - probably have to wait until next season :(

Anytime count comes up I like to plug my daughter. She's 5 and just hit #82 on Conneaut's Blue Streak. I wonder if there's some kind of record for age/coasters ridden?

Send that to Ripley's! No but seriosuly thats pretty cool, I'm 21 and haven't gotten to that number yet.

#75 was Raven and #100 will come at PKI in October. Let's shoot for The Beast and see what happens.

I rode my 100th on June 23, 2002, three days before the coaster's 75th anniversary. 'Twas the CI Cyclone.

I haven't gotten to 100 yet but my 50th coaster was Alpengeist.

Well, Im only 14, so I have not ridden many but my 50th was Flight of Fear at PKI and now im up to 62 coasters I believe!
