No, it's no mistake. You don't need the CD once you get LL, and it's proof positive that you bought it in the first place. Why is that a problem?

LL hasCF already in its program. So no, you will never need your CF CD-Rom again. But you will need the original RCT CD-Rom.
It says it either on the box, or in the instruction booklet for LL.
