1 or 2 days at PKI?

There was an article in the Cincinnati Enquirer about 6 months ago where 4 people rode every adult ride(including flatrides) in the park in a day and rated them(Flight of Fear had the highest rating).  Also these people waited in line like everyone else did.  Sure it wasn't a saturday, if it were you wouldn't get to ride everthing.  Let me recommend you go on a thursday, be sure to catch a night ride on Beast before you leave.

This post is totally false.   The article even stated that the guest were led and assisted by the PR rep Jeff Seibert.   A little search and I will post the link.

First off, You absolutely have to ride The Beast at night...I want to PKI for the first time ever last year all pumped about riding The Beast.  I got there, ran to the beast.  I rode it, and I was quite dissapointed.  But I decided to give it another go later on, and I did, at about 9:30 at night...It was absolutely incredible.  The tunnels were pitch black...everyone was screaming like crazy...and when it droped into the ravine thing right after taking the left turn after the first drop, I swear it felt 20 degrees colder in that ravine.  It was awsome.

BTW, SOB is a great coaster, but its just not smooth, ANYWHERE, any seat except when your in the loop.

Here is the link to the article of the four visitors trying to do all of PKI's 31 adult rides.  It clearly states it would not be possible without assistance and that they were given assistance by Jeff and Matt from PKI.

Let me correct mysel in that case, they were escorted by Jeff Seibert, and Matt Deaton, however on the correct day of the week it is still possible to be able to ride all the rides. You just have to get there at ten, and not leave till the park closes.

Heres the article from theCincinnati Enquirer.

I wasn't trying to be a redneck when I cleared that up.  I just wanted to state the truth.   There is a trick to doing it all though.   Get Drop Zone and Face off done first!  After the opening hour these two rides can have over 1.5hr waits any day of the week.  Amost every other ride can be ridden in under a half hour wait except for maybe Scoobies Ghoster Coaster.
Chuck, who thinks TR will have pretty good capcity at 75 riders per cycle

kinda surprised last year, on a Sunday...the longest waits I had all day were for the Ghoster Coaster and the Runaway Reptar...if I got to the park more frequently, I may have bailed on SDGC (the ride-ops were good, max capacity is POOR).  Single training on Beastie is NO problem whatsoever IMO in comparison to the Runaway Reptar, as little ones have a hard time loading/unloading with the inverted seats.

Bill, who thinks Chuck might sing a different tune about SoB after 4 consecutive spins without exiting...but I still applaud PKI for the effort, ingenuity, and enthusiasm.  And I remain hopeful for the future of Sonny, and am VERY excited about the work being done on Racer...you MAY be able to do the park in 1 day, but a second day would be well-spent.

P.S.  I remember last year at PKD going to buy tickets at around 5pm for the next day, and they let us in that night FREE...is that "policy", or if we just got extraordinarily lucky?  Anyway, if PKI shares that "policy", a day-and-a-half would be THE way to go!

you do not need 2 days at any park (not including resorts), especially a paramount park.  Ive gone to PKI on the weekend several times and had no problem getting on every ride except drop zone and face off (broke down).  I would ride the beast in the day, then in the night, you have to be able to anticipate the turns and whatnot.  TR:TR should make the beast very crowded.  So either go straight to action zone or to the beast area.  BEWARE: THE BEAST'S LINE CAN REACH 2 HOURS DURING THE NIGHT

Just DON'T GO ON A TUESDAY!!!  They have the gold pass double ride Tuesdays on a lot of the major rides.  Even if you have a gold pass, it still just about doubles the wait time in the lines.

smile...it's cheap, and people will wonder what you're up to. :)
You have to remember though, that if your a gold pass holder, it really doesn`t double the wait times.  You may wait a little longer, but your getting 2 rides in.  I am truly looking forward to riding the retracked Racer this season!
