Well I finally made it out to my home park for the first time this year. Had to get a day off of work because there was no way I would even touch this park on a weekend. The crowds on Saturday and Sunday are ridiculous.
Forewarning to people who plan on paying a one day admission to SFGAm. They just raised the admission last week to $42.99. Well on to the coasters and the park.
1. Raging Bull (B&M HYPERTWISTER), first ride of the day when the park opened. My god, when they open the gates at 10:00 AM you would think there was no other ride in the park. Its like the Bull had a magnet attached to it. First lap in the back. As always its very intense. (JEFF) I noticed that brake going up the 3rd hill but I cant explain why its there either. Later in the day we did a lap in the front and I must say that is the best seat on the ride. I am usually a back seat person but the front on the Bull is just unreal. The first drop in the front pulls your body into the seat while entering the tunnel. Great airtime too. 2 laps.
2. American Eagle (INTAMIN OUT AND BACK DUAL RACING WOODY), What can I say, I have been riding this coaster since it opened and I still love it. The Blue side was only running which I was kind of aggravated about. With all the trims on this ride now at least the Red side still gives great airtime on the bunny hops. Rode the Blue which was boring but they finally had the Red running so of course I was on it. 1 lap Blue, 1 lap Red.
3. Iron Wolf (B&M STANDUP), had to ride solo on this one. My buddy refused to get his head beat around. This ride is still as intense as it was in 1990. A couple head shots but overall a great ride. 1 lap.
4. Batman the Ride (B&M INVERTED), My only inverted that I have ever been on and the thrills and speed are still there. I am so used to waiting at least an hour for this ride but it was no more than 20 minutes . I was a very happy camper.
