? About Expansion Packs

I'm more of a console gamer than a pc gamer. So I am new to expansion packs. I own the orginal RCT, I am thinking about getting one of the expansions but I am not sure which one. What do you recommend?

Is installing the expansion easy? Is it just like installing the actual game? Do I need to backup any files? Just want to be safe, then again I'm sure the instruction book would have this info, but I would like to know before purchase.

Thanks

Get Loopy Landscapes. Make sure it's the one that says 'Includes Corkscrew Follies.' I've seen 2 versions of LL in stores, one that says that, one that doesn't. That way you get both expansions in 1 disk.

Installing it is a snap. It's just like installing the original game. Pop the disk in, select install, and it does most of the work for you. No backing up nessessary, however, once it's installed, you'll want to get the latest patch from www.rollercoastertycoon.com .

Will it go up this year? Doubtful...

Get the Loopy Landscapes expansion. It contains all of the previous stuff. Once you put it in and install it, you dont need the original CD. It will need to load from the expansion disc. You dont need to backup any files, but it might not be a bad idea to backup any saved games or tracks you saved.

Option #2 is to just wait for RCT2. I say get LL and play that till RCT2 arrives.
