SeaWorld Orlando teases next roller coaster

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

SeaWorld has released vague details about a 200-foot roller coaster, and says it will announce more in May.

Guess I forgot the 😜...

And if Florida needed an airtime machine hypercoaster, they would have already built one.

Once again, 😜!

But then again, what do I know?

I don't think Orlando needs another looper. An airtime machine would fit in much better.

AMEN to that!

Well, we do have White Lightning.

True, but one airtime machine compared to how many loopers?

Jeff - very true, and I *love* White Lightning. But virtually every other FL non-looping coaster outside of Disney/Lego property is a kiddie coaster.

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

I've developed a special love for Big Thunder Mountain. Mostly because of this.

Presumably SeaWorld won't name the next coaster after Jane Goodall. :)

If it's a B&M, do you think it will have the stadium style seating or normal seating?

I hear they're bringing back sideways seating.

Do you think it will run two trains or three? What colors are they going to choose? Will they take my picture on the first drop or the second? I'm just so freekin' excited to ride it! lol

If they run 3 on Kraken then they better run 3 on this. I think a light grey with white supports would be fitting. They don't need more blue.

I wouldn't be optimistic about the operations just yet. I hope Manby's influence changes this, but ops at that park are just awful. I've seen them run one train on Kraken with no sense of urgency.

I wouldn't be posturing about it at all just yet. Or be confident that it's going to be the best coaster in Orlando.

I thought about it for a while, and I think it's going to be orange and white, and run three trains on Wednesdays. I'm not sure if the photo will be taken after the first or second drop, but perhaps it will be taken at the third.

Also, I was kidding. I was making fun of the question asked about if the ride would have either stadium seating or normal seating. We don't even know what kind of coaster it's going to be, yet alone if it will have stadium seating. In other words, CarolinaNick, hold your horses. Slow down and enjoy the mystery. :)

Topic: potential new roller coaster

General public: Whoa! I wonder what it'll be like?

Enthusiasts: Whoa! I wonder how many trains it will run?

It's not every day sea world gets a coaster 😜.

Hoping it'll be a better ride than SheiKra, though....

I can trip over a curb, roll over and sprain my ankle, and it'd be a better ride than SheiKra.

What's with the hate for Sheikra?

I just didn't like it. I was expecting it to be so much more than it was, and I was far beyond underwhelmed. It seriously felt like nothing to me, I was almost bored on it.

Could have been the circumstances, and coming from a straight week at Disney before hand, but it's just "meh" to me.
