Coasting For Kids 2009 with Give Kids The World

Give Kids The World Village, in Orlando, Florida, is a 70-acre resort that offers children with life-threatening illness and their families an opportunity to enjoy a cost-free and worry-free experience, in as little as 24 hours if necessary. In a coordinated effort with world-class theme parks, thousands of volunteers and generous donations, Give Kids The World helps these families put illness in the background while kids get a chance to just be kids and enjoy the attractions of Central Florida.

On Wednesday, August 26, we invite the first 60 participants who sign-up to help raise money for GKTW by heading up to Cedar Point for an entire day of riding Gemini. You'll have your own link to give to others so they can donate directly. You don't have to handle cash at all! Just follow the instructions on our information page to participate.

The top prize for the person who raises the most money is a VIP tour for four at Cedar Point, valued at $1,500! Don't delay, sign-up today!

For more information, visit the Coasting For Kids 2009 page on CoasterBuzz.

Nice idea. If I was in the US I'd definitely consider that (though I reckon ten hours on Gemini would have me collapsing due to boredom!) :)

I am signed up. Besides my $50 seed, I already have an additional donation for $25 5 minutes after I put the info up on a work related forum.

If you not able to make it please sponsor me at http://www.firstgiving.com/davewetterstroem
