Total raised last year at Cedar Point alone: $9,609.85!
Join CoasterBuzz in helping to raise money for Give Kids The World, our favorite charity. This year, Cedar Fair parks are participating in a huge fundraiser, and we want you to be a part of it!
Give Kids The World Village, in Orlando, Florida, is a 70-acre resort that offers children with life-threatening illness and their families an opportunity to enjoy a cost-free and worry-free experience, in as little as 24 hours if necessary. In a coordinated effort with world-class theme parks, thousands of volunteers and generous donations, Give Kids The World helps these families put illness in the background while kids get a chance to just be kids and enjoy the attractions of Central Florida.
The details vary by park, but here are the basics:
- Raise just $50 in advance, and be the park's guest for free, with food, fun and serious roller coaster riding.
- Giving is easy and online, and you can give your fund raising link to others to keep bumping up your total.
- To register and start collecting donations, visit First Giving here, choose your park, and sign up!
- If all seats are full, you can still sign up as a virtual rider and raise money.
- To learn more, e-mail dream@gktw.org
- Can't participate, don't want to sign-up, but still want to donate? Use Jeff's donation page to get your donation straight to GKTW.
