The colored cars of the Ferris wheel that towered over the destruction at FunTown Amusement Pier for the past six months now sit in another pile of wreckage. Workers on Thursday brought down the Ferris wheel that helped distinguish the pier at the end of the borough’s boardwalk, Seaside Heights Police Chief Thomas Boyd confirmed.
