Alexander Weber, Jr. has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of Paramount Parks, the theme park unit of Viacom Inc. Paramount Parks is headquartered in Charlotte, NC. It was announced Friday by Thomas B. McGrath, President of Paramount Enterprises, a unit of the Viacom Entertainment Group, a division of Viacom Inc. He has previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Paramount Parks. From 1992-98, Weber was the General Manager of Paramount's Kings Island in Cincinnati, Ohio and prior to that he held the General Manager position at Paramount's Great America in Santa Clara, California for eight years.
