An article in the Canton Repository talks to Cedar Point about how modern roller coasters go through a multitude of tests, including the forces that will be exerted on the riders. Researchers say they're not convinced the rides have any ill effects as they'd make riding uncomfortable. SafeParks.org's Kathy Fackler is quoted as being "floored" at the advances made in safety practices at Disney's California Adventure.
