Hobbs’ investment group, Fiddler’s Inn Inc., is privately financing a mini-amusement park near the old Opryland park. Construction of the mini park — to be called Valley Park — has been slowed by rain but the first phase comprised of a go-cart track and pizza place to accompany the existing Grand Old Golf will open June 20. The full park, scheduled to open next May, will feature 11 children’s rides and 10 adult rides.
