Cedar Fair may appeal property tax increase for Michigan's Adventure

County officials' reassessment of property values at the 186-acre complex in Fruitland and Dalton townships has more than doubled what the company will pay in taxes on its land this year. The reassessment hiked the taxable value of the amusement park's land in the two townships from $2,260,803 in 2001 to $5,539,400 in 2002. The tax in question is not for the rides or buildings, but the land itself.
