Bud Hurlbut designed and built the Calico Mine Ride and the Timber Mountain Log Ride — two attractions that, decades after they were built, remain among the most popular rides at Knott's Berry Farm. Castle Park in Riverside is another Hurlbut project. He established the park in 1976, selling it a little more than 20 years later. The contents of his workshop are for sale, through Saturday.
