Big Dipper owner remains anonymous due to "verbal attacks" from coaster enthusiasts

The Big Dipper wooden roller coaster, a staple at the defunct Geauga Lake amusement park since 1925, is on eBay with a starting bid of $9,500, and a "Buy It Now" price of $65,000. Tom Woosnam of Apex Western Machinery Movers in Akron made the one and only bid, but said he represented someone who wished to remain anonymous. Through Woosnam, the owner again declined to reveal himself or comment about the eBay auction, citing verbal attacks that coaster enthusiasts have made to him about his intent.
