Amusment park designer dies at 62 from brain cancer

Jerry Deagen, an artist whose works have been seen at parks across the country, died at his home in suburban Atlanta. He was 62. Deagen's projects included a restoration of a historic carousel at Six Flags Over Georgia and the Quarry Exhibit at Stone Mountain Park, Georgia's top tourist attraction with 4 million visitors per year.
