Alton Towers wedding party back on after cancelled Muslim buyout

Amanda Morris and Scott Lee had feared their special day at Alton Towers would be ruined after it was announced the theme park was hosting a special event for 28,000 Muslims. That meant the couple and their 50 guests would have to follow rules such as men and women being forced to go on separate rides and women being made to cover up. But the Bramley couple's £5,000 dream weekend in September has been saved after the firm behind the first ever Muslim fun day, Islamic Leisure, cancelled the event because of poor ticket sales.
