Zonga and Nick Central the latest attractions in NorCal

Two of Zonga's loops are now vertical at Six Flags Marine World along with all the mid-course brake runs and drops. The lift is about three-fourths done and the ride is scheduled to open on April 24.

Paramount's Great America opened its doors on Saturday to large crowds for the unveiling of Nick Central. The area includes three new rides including a Huss Breakdance.

Why isn't Zonga completely up by now? When it was traveling, the ride could be put up in about 2 days.

Am I really that shy?

On one of the pictures you can see that they left the two small loops in the flat tire shape that they were in originally.
Doesn't look like they went in too much effort to change the ride in order to make it safe for our human spine, or to care about whether the rider's spine can hold the torso up or not in this ride.

It's so strange to see a ride with known problems go up again and again - just because a famous designer has designed it.

This ride was designed in a competitive market in search of the biggest thrill... it was a one of it's kind (next to Olympia Looping), and the end of a one-way-road to more and more extreme transportable roller coasters.

Why give this ride another chance to hurt people?
