Worlds tallest coaster coming to Florida-Poler Coaster

Over the years there's been quite a number of new coaster concepts, outlandish and otherwise, where we've eagerly waited for the announcement of construction of the first model. In some cases we've waited longer than others. Then occasionally we wait forever. And ever... and ever...

And sometimes they get announced and then the price of steel goes up and the manufacturer demands more money and Hershey won'y budge and the whole thing becomes a giant fiasco and never gets built (see: Frequent Faller).

I never heard of Frequent Faller before. Looks interesting, at least. Was Hershey supposed to get one?

The amusement park rises bold and stark..kids are huddled on the beach in a mist

For a few moths, at least. It was announced, and I believe the land-clearing had already taken place. (Wasn't it going in near Carousel Circle?).

I Googled for time-frame, and it looks like it was just around 7 years ago....time does fly (or in this case, fall)....

Yeah, I thought it was supposed to go where Giant Wheel was...or near it.

Yes, they removed the wheel to make room for it, then it fell through.

Hi

Then they installed Balloon Flight and brought back Starship America to fill the void in Founder's Circle left after Giant Wheel was removed.

Ah, so it did fall. But only once.

Episodic Faller?

ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz someone please wake me when they announce something! That's been the longest 2 weeks I've ever waited for an announcement. I think it's great they are building it in central Florida. I hope central Florida gets more bigger coasters. Not many areas are good to ride coasters all year around and central Florida gets business all year around.

I'd like to think that I'd be down for riding any coaster on the planet, but yikes! This one will test my bravery. ;)

This thing looks fun. Cue the complaints about the ~$20 ticket price for a single ride...

And OMG! They're building one at Kings Dominion, and bringing Hypersonic XLC back!!!1

And still Michigan's Adventure gets nothing!

I never thought this day would come... Someone is going to break a height barrier that CP hasn't broken

There oughta be a law!
