Williams Grove auctions off rides

Williams Grove Amusement Park in Cumberland County welcomed visitors for more than 150 years before it closed. Today, some of the park's old attractions got new owners.

Their Wildcat is now here in MD at Adventure Park USA, and it's a fantastic ride for a smaller steel coaster. Glad some of the other rides are also finding new homes.

Still sad to see a park close, though...

Anyone hear anything about the status of the Cyclone or will it be turned to kindling soon?

Have Fun

I can't imagine in any way possible that Cyclone could be saved. The only possibility I could even remotely imagine would be to use it as a blueprint to build a brand new coaster completely from scratch. IMHO

Here are some pictures I took earlier this year of Williams Grove.

But was the pinwheel up for sale?

I'd have bid big on that one. ;)

It already had a price tag on it too, Gonch. I'm sure for you they'd throw in the cow from the mini golf course too.
Bar none best park theming Ive seen since the poop on Dog Fart Coaster...
