Titan almost complete, trains on the track

Posted | Contributed by Lone Star Thrills

I've added 40 new Titan photos. Mid course brake run is complete and they have started tracking the last half. Also one Titan train is sitting on the tranfer track and two more are in the storage shed.

Are those headrests on the trains?
Sure looks like it...
I can't quite tell from the photos, are the cars just similar to Goliath's, or the same?

looks like headrests to me, too. what's up with that?
I haven't seen the trains myself, but those do appear to have headrests on them. I'll confirm this on Saturday for sure.
yes those are headrests, except they aren`t on cars 4 & 8, wonder why?
LOL, those "rows" you're looking at aren't rows. Those are the backs of the cars, hence why you don't see any headrests on them. ;)

Original or not, Titan will still be one of the best steel coasters in the world. Six Flags cares much more about the quality of a ride than how original the design is.

Yes,those are headrests on the cars they appear to be the same as Goliath trains.

You wont be disappointed these are very comfortable trains.
I think this looks like one hell of a coaster. I'd love to get out to SFOT to ride it, but I know I won't for a while. Where does it differ from Goliath? All I know is that Goliath's pictures didn't excite me like Titan's do. Of coruse, I haven't ridden Goliath either.

For some reason I didn't remember the headrests on Goliath, but have just looked at some pictures and behold, there they are. Exact same trains.

I wish they'd have given us a different color in Texas for the track and trains. It doesn't do much to fight the perception that Titan is a clone when it's the same color even.
Hey Jman, Titan is different than Goliath mainly because of the upward helix before the brake run.
But the drop is also about 4 degrees steeper as well. That's not too much of a difference though.
I believe Titan may also be 10 to 20 feet taller than Goliath as well, but this has not yet been confirmed.
And finally, yes those are headrests on the trains.

I can't wait to ride!!!!!
Hey I've posted 20 More pics. Titan is almost complete. I'll have another update tomorrow
DROOL!!!

Wanna ride it, wanna ride it.
Clone or not, it looks awesome!
Wouldn't mind one of these clones popping up at SFWoA!!!

Coasters...the best natural buzz available.
I can't tell if the trains have spoilers on the front like Goliath does. Do any of you know?
Texas enthusiasts are in for a treat!
Yes the spoiler is on the front. I'm in the process of updating with 35 new pics, including the shot of a trench in the final dive before the brake run. Also it shows the track under about 6" to 1' of water.
Is that due to rain, or is there supposed to be water under the track?
Due to the rain .. it actually covers teh track.
