Ticket For Millenium Force

Do they really give you a ticket to ride MF???

It's not what you think RollrCoastr00... it's a ticket to ride.

If you get there early, and the line stretches like to infinity, then the park partons will give you a ticket so you can leave the line and go only during the time frame that is on the ticket and only wait around a half hour tops for the Millenium Force (noone else was allowed, only people with that specific ticket). This was during the times of 11am to 4pm, I think...

Before that and after those times, it was opened to anyone. That is when the lines get from 2 to 4 hours long.

I'll be all for it this year too since the coaster is still pretty much new and the most popular at Cedar Point still... (in other words, the lines won't be dwindled down from last year all that much). It gives you or anyone at least 1 ride on the Millenium Force without waiting half the day for it!
I hate to start this, but TTR (Ticket To Ride) was not very good. Sorry, but I had to throw in my thoughts there.

There are HUGE threads on this topic over at Guidetothepoint.com.... you should check it out.

The system sucks, but I found it to work while I was there last year. (august)

It's a poor system compared to Disney's fastpass. I don't think their gonna do it this year (I dunno though)

What did the ticket look like? I went early June, and late August last year, but I never saw this system implemented. I always wanted to get one of those tickets and bring it home. Kind of like a souvieneer.

Ticket to Ride makes you stand in another line to get a ticket. I decided to use this time to ride other coasters/rides and instead I waited in open queue for MF.

That would be silly, then you would have a ticket, but you would not get to ride the coaster. They collected the tickets at the enterance to the queue.

I think CP plans ok keeping the TTR system for the 2001 season.
