The drive to Ohio in the morning was dry, until we got off the Ohio Turnpike. A pretty steady rain until early afternoon. I rode X-Flight on the Thurs. tv shoot, but the group with me wanted to go first. Waited about 30 min. til the split. The group wanted to go left but I steered them to the right. A much shorter walk to the station. The station was packed up toward the front, about 10 people per line. We walked toward the back and there was only 4 people waiting for the back. Hoped on first in the back. The ride was better than the tv day. I was pinned in the seat more and I think that helped. Walked over and on SUE. Great ride, took the 3rd seat, the rain hurt a little but it oddly felt good. After grabbing a hot dog combo under the sky ride we headed toward the "ferry to the marine side." It was 2 little pontoon boats that held 10 people at the most. We decided to walk toward the land bridge. On the way over we hit BKF. Only floorless I've been on was pretty good, the rain again felt oddly weird, in a good way.

After a long walk over the land bridge, I, a normal size teen decided to do the Happy Harbor net climbs and stuff. I didn't realize that the ropes where wet and I fell a lot more than I usually do on them. I may be getting a little old for the tubes. We then strolled over to the wild part of the marine side. Pirates was starting in about an hour, so we rode the Bermuda sim. First off it broke halfway during the sim and we got to see it again. Worst part was during the delay the little kid behind me said he had to go the bathroom and couldn't hold it. This was the first sim I was truly scared on. Did "Shark Encounter" OOPS I mean Shark Experience. The motorized pathway didn't work and it wasn't as good. Then saw Pirates. I had seen the show at BGW. But it was a good show that was nice and warm.

After a visit to touch some slimy batrays, we headed to a show about animal actors. It was good but the whole thing was an infomercial for animal shelters. Ate some pizza, near the middle of the park somewhere. We then hoped that the line for the "ferry" was shorter on the marine side. It was about a 40 min wait(longest all day). The sky was getting dark and I wanted to hit Villan with the new trains. This ride would be so much better with PTC trains over Gerstaulers. They should be banned from amusement parks. We then left as the rain started coming down again around 8:30.

Notes:
Minderaser didn't run all day. Serial Thriller didn't run in the morning. First off they are building a pier on the wildlife side to hold 250 passenger boats which will really help. One ferry employee said that the park is considering a train to run around the lake with stops in Looney Tunes, over by RWB, and 1 just past the Batman Stunt show. The wildlife park side was so dead. It looked real bad. The shows on the marine side weren't played enough, only 3-4 times a day when the shows are 20 min. long?

The park was dead and that really helped, if it would have been busy it would've been pretty bad.
My Bermuda Sim broke Down too in mid ride!
I hate Bermuda. It is a waste of space and time. Anyone that has been to Orlando knows what I am talking aboot.

--who's M:BT sim broke mid-ride that day too...
I noticed that there are only 4-5 shows a day in the Marine side, but that is the way that it was when it was Sea World also. You have to remember that they are using live animals in these shows, and I don't know if the animals are up to performing 10 times a day. After seeing some of those shows, I bet that the animals are tired after 4 shows a day.
The animal shows I can *maybe* understand, but as a few 'locals' told me, pirates 4-D used to run every 15 min or so. They dont use animals for that do they?
Pirates used to run continuously.....whenever they had enough peeps in the que, they started her up. I don't plan on seeing Pirates this year as I have probably seen it 15 times at two different parks. When I referred to "Orlando" I meant all the major Orlando parks and their sims.
