SFGL/X-Flight (Friday)

Associated parks:
None

I want to keep this brief.

The Good:

We got there at 8, Chris and I were put in group B, which in the long run didn't matter.

We heavily cheated the system. We "took a bathroom break" at 5 till 10. We went to Batman, got first ride of the day to ourselves. Back seat, baby, awesome ride. We then rerode again. After two Batman rides completely to ourselves, we headed to Villain. I thought it was broke down but it just didn't run because no body was there. We *had* to sit in the front row so it wouldn't valley. Another first ride of the day, to ourselves. Then, we rerode again by ourselves. Geesh, Villain is slooooooow in the 'morn. Cheat the system, we are rebels.

The food was great. Chris and I had a taste for the Greek and the turkey, so he got turkey and I got Greek and we traded half for half. MMMMMMMMM, it was GREAT!

X-Flight: WOW. I didn't know what to say. I was dizzy. We went right for backseat because as a cool guy from Pittsburgh said who rode w/ us: "We are "Backseat Boys". I felt like I was going to fall out the whole time. Anyone who thinks the ride is too small or slow, wait till you ride it buddy. The ride is so instense I didn't know what I was doing on two seperate occasions. Six Flags better have a good warning, because MANY people will pass out. I don't know if it my #2 or #3 coaster. Just a crazy experience. That loop ripped my face off.

The Bad:

Well, I said all I wanted was one ride on X-Flight. If I got more, sweet; if I only got the one, great. I got one ride in 7 hours, leaving at 3:30 for Relay for Life. I never complained aboot riding once, or waiting 7 hours. I only had one complaint that made me sooooooooo steamed:

The two ladies lied constantly. I don't know if they were missinformed by the lazy commercial crew, or if they just tried to quiet us up. "Next 5 minutes, you will be riding X-FLIGHT!" "Right after lunch, you will not get off X-Flight because you will ride and ride and RIDE!!!" After lunch, the commercial people had fun sitting around till 3:30 (we ate at 1). They may have sat around longer, I don't know. All I have to say is they need more of an itenerary. The only itenerary was "Um, yesterday they lunch around 1". I still had fun and X-Flight is a one of a kind coaster. Everybody that got to ride it loved it. By the way, I only saw 1 Vekoma worker, all the others were older SF employees.

My final comment: I bet right now X-Flight WILL NOT be ready Memorial Day either.

ok, i am really lost here. What are you trying to say?

-------------
Alabama needs more parks- coasterbuzz
SFoG Man- Danimation
There is no SFGL. I think you meant to say SFWoA
Some people like to call it SFGL. I know I would.
-------------
There are currently 11 coasters with the name Batman, 8 with the name Superman and 22 with the name Boomerang. Batman and Superman: The Ultimate Chiller Knight Flight Krypton Escape Ride.
I call it Six Flags Geagua Lake. I refuse to call my park something as stupid as "Six Flags Worlds of Adventure".

I think that is a *GREAT* name, although I still wish it went to my home park, SFGAd, as was originally intended instead of SFO...

Nonetheless, SFO is in a more competitive market,
so they got the name, and we got Six Flags New Jersey... BLAH!
