Sequel to RCT

I have read that there is a sequel in the works and that no more add-on packs are planned for the original.

You can be sure that the sequel will have every single rides, elements, features available today and more. The viewpoint may also be fully 3D rather than fixed on an isometric viewpoint. You'll be able to ride your creations & perhaps take a virtual walk in your park.

Wouldn't it be fun to visit your virtual park & ride coasters with your friends on www.mplayer.com or similar? I.e. multiplaying or networking.

Most hopefully the tools for constructing coasters will allow a lot more freedom, kinda like on UC3D or No Limits. It would be awesome if the sequel is just as good as No Limits or better. http://www.nolimitscoaster.de/

Where did you read this
will you be able to transfer old parks from the original?
Where did you hear about this? I know that Chris Sawyer has said that there probably won't be more add-ons, that the next logical step would be to redesign the game itself. What's your source?

Don't forget to VOTE in the POLL!
This would be excellent! I know that if it is done by Chris Sawyer than it will be done right, and also it will probably take a long time to create. And what is your source??? *** This post was edited by FloridaCoasterRider on 3/10/2001. ***

A Cedar Pointer!"
Yup, is a rumor. My bad, I was just voicing my wishes for the sequel. Crystalkat got it right, the game is likely to be redesigned i.e. made a sequel.

I think there was a mention of a sequel in Screamscape, am not 100% sure. Sorry.
