I have no idea how easy this would or would not be to do, but how about a separate "mark all old posts read" (along with the other options) for all the different forums (General, RCT, etc). This site is so popular, there are days when I drop in and I want to look at new posts, but I don't have the time to look at all the forums. I don't want to have to repeat reading when there has been nothing new posted, but I'm reluctant to mark that I've read it because I might miss something good! Just an idea... :)
