SCBB voted best by Discovery/Travel Channel

Since this is a small West Coast park that never gets talked about, gotta give it a plug and the praise it deserves. Discovery/Travel Channel has voted Santa Cruz Beach/Boardwalk as THE BEST American Seaside Boardwalk. Even rates higher than Coney Island(sorry East Coast mafia!). Ask anyone who's been to this jewel of the West Coast and they'll agree, the place is amazing. Check it out:

Yeah SCBB is really a lot of fun. I would have missed it if it wasn't for the people here at Coasterbuzz.

Ride 'Till you drop
I went there when we took a trip out to California a few years ago. Great park and one of the coolest atmospheres, it looks so nice at night. Kind of place I would love to take my girlfriend :)

SCBB is magical! The minature golf corse[used to be a pool] Is indoors and has special prizes for a hole in one on the 18th. The Beach is cool [litteraly!!!] The rides there are cool and the prices are great.

On my NorCal trip, I only alotted about 2-3 hours there, what a mistake!! I could have stayed there ALL DAY and into the night. Giant Dipper is awesome, and the Hurricane is one WILD "wildcat" coaster.

Next trip, I will give a full day to this gem of a park.

"X" marks the spot in 2001!
The Santa Cruz Boardwalk is top notch! Great atmosphere.

Ok,i have to dispute with Discovery channel!I can't believe that Atlantic city is number 2!!I definately enjoy Wildwood more then Atlantic city and, they have way more to offer then AC!! They have three really cool coasters and AC has one that isn't even a big deal!! Wildwood has,the great nor easter which is an inverted and, when it was brand new it whooped the pants of Batman at sfgadv.Over the past few years it has gotten a little warped from the salty air.It also has the great White which is a nice medium sized woody and,it has the Serpent which is a boomerrang but defintaley leaves your head spinning despite the shortness of it.Not to mention the two very nice waterparks rite on the boardwalk!! I am writing discovery channel,Wildwood should not have been left out :0(

1)Steel Force,Dorney Park.PA
2)Medusa,sfgadv
3)Batman and Robin the chiller,Batman side.sfgadv
I am sure Nitro will knock steel force out of #1.
