Record breaker for Las Vegas in 2002
Hi just came across this link for a new ride in las vegas with a hieght of 518 feet it will be a world record breaker and will open in 2002. It will be made by premier rides.

That would be cool. But I'd say this is just another crazy rumor that most likley isn't going to happen.

If its a rumor, its the most proffesional loking one I've ever seen. They only thing that's missing is the writers name, or I'd say it's a lock. A tall ferris wheel is nothing new.
Still, I don't know how trilling a Ferris wheel could be. If it looked over the strip it may be cool, but the Nevada Desert isn't the most exciting thing to be looking at.

Joe E. beat me to it. Yeah, if they built the London Eye which is about 450' tall, this can easily happen.
I can't remember, but recall reading about the Voyager in my local paper.
People who submit 100% false rumors to get a kick out of it should be tied up and shot! :)

Sorry Supe, I didn't mean you. The Voyager looks like it will really happen - like Jeff said, its old news! I meant people who submit wacko rumors like the Strato & King Kong rumor.
