RCT3 Question

Well, a question that I have had for a while is what are the minimum requirements to you that will make the game smooth and playable, because when I build bigger parks, the game gets really choppy. Right now I have 512 mb of RAM on my computer, and my computer can hold 1 gb of RAM total. If I fill this computer up with the maximum amount of RAM, will it be enough?

It doesn't matter what your specs are. It'll run like crap no matter what.

While 1GB of ram is a great upgrade, what are your video card specs?

I have a gig of RAM and the game still runs like hell.

When the game first came out we shared specs and performance results. There are some people around here with bleeding edge setups that still can't run the game well.

My advice: Leave your machine alone and buy BattleField I or II, or almost any other game for that matter.
I have RCT3 and Soaked and each both required an upgrade or some change that cost me money.
I read the specs and each time I should not have had to upgrade, yet I did when I loaded it.
I'll borrow my buddies Wild in a couple of days, load it and see how it runs. If it does its happy dance like Soaked, I'm done with RCT. Period.
If it works, I'll buy it.

I am having a really hard time deciding if I should purchase this game for Mac. I used to play the original version years ago when I was staying with someone who had a PC. I totally loved the original. But considering how many bad things I have read about this version, I am on the edge about whether or not I should waste my money.

Is it true that Walmart accepts returns on opened software? Does anyone know if they carry Mac products - I couldn't find any on their website.
