Proposed Lincoln Monument could lead to theme park

A 305-Foot statue of Abraham Lincoln, which would be located in the small town of Lincoln, IL, has been proposed. The project $40 million project could anchor a "massive theme park" blending rides with restraunts and historical attractions.

Never going to happen. I live fairly close to Lincoln and the thought is absurd.

And slides 25-30 show different views from the top of the statue. Of course, in central illinois the view from 350 feet up is... NOTHING!
