PKI & PGA '06- Zamperla Disk-O Coaster?

Looks like the new Avatar-themed "family coaster" coming for PKI next year in the new Nickelodeon Universe and the possibly Survivor-themed coaster at PGA might be a Zamperla Disk-O Coaster as hinted to back when the PKI section was originally announced. Check here and see what you think. It's a brand new ride that spins as Siebert hinted.

Looks pretty fun!

I wasn't aware that you could get a Disk-O in that configuration. Pretty cool!

That looks sweet! I adore the disk-o's restraints and ride experience, if they can convert that smoothness into a coaster experience it will be a great family fun ride.

Amazing how thin the line between coaster and not is getting these days. Beastbuzz Disko ERT? *** Edited 10/31/2005 7:27:09 PM UTC by DragonRider***

It's not a coaster, it's powered throughout the course... ;~P

Meh, that line went from blurry to...obsolete. As long as it's fun, what do *I* care whether it "counts" as a coaster...

CF could buy some and name them all Spinning Venom-Hawk. :)

NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.

But Cedar Point already has a ride that spins!
But there can only be one world's tallest, fastest...uh, bi-directional spinning sorta-coaster.

ON THE PLANET.

I still enjoy that people believe Cedar Point *is* the entirity of Cedar Fair and that the entire company is amazing on the shoulders of one park that had their latest two major rides out of operation this weekend. =p

Why is it that PKI and PGA get these cool rides *before* PKD does? I've noticed this...they first get the Italian Job rides, and now PKD does...now they get this Disk-O and PKD doesn't...what gives?

Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger

I thought the + was for PlusDanny. + must have some other hidden meaning. :)
It's a cross. I am heaven sent. Don't you dare forget. ;)

I can point out park flaws and still have a smile on my face. =p

I thought it was "positive..." Or "plus" as in "not negative."

Heh. Yeah, right. ;)

It happened at the same time and is kind of like when Cedar Fair purchased SFWOA. You think it's going to be better and it looks different, but it still sucks and doesn't deliver what's promised. =^o

OMG That looks really fun. The Disk-O at Mt. Olympus was awesome. That would be wicked! I can't wait.

After the Zamperla Flyer, we knew there was nowhere to go but up....they went WAY up...

But I still think the restraints are...poor. Zamperla seems to have some weird idea that restraints SHOULD push against your throat, or your kidneys, or your stomach....what gives?

The Disk-O is close but not quite.

I've ridden the Dollywood version of the Disko, and I personally think what we're getting in '06 at PKI looks better. The third photo in the link at the top of the thread is close.

Nasai's the only one here who can vouch for me, so we'll see if he pops his head in. :)

I love the Disko Restraints.

I concur. I felt very comfortable, it was almost like it wasn't there, even though they did the trick. I could have one in my back yard and I'd be a happy man.

This looks just as interesting. Even my credit ho-ing butt probably won't count it as a coaster, though.
