PKD Hypersonic Opening?

We're going to PKD on May 5, but I can't find anything about the opening of the new coaster--it just says New For Spring 2001. Anybody know anything?

Hypersonic XLC has been opened for several days now. It opened on March 24. Here's your news item:

It has been DDM recently due to some timing problems and problems with getting the launch mechanism to attach to the train.

DDM? Does this mean Down Due to Mechanical Problems? If so you need a few more letters! Boy in a few years everything will be abbreviated.
