Pics of Batwing? - CoasterBuzz

Has anybody seen real pics of the Batwing at SFA, like the track and the site that's being cleared.

BTW, I'm not talking about the computer generated drawing, I've already seen that.

I think you're outta luck for right now. We didn't get any pics or anything last year till late. I don't even believe that S:ROS was officially announced till March. Hopefully at some point Sam Marks will get in there and get some pics, like he did last year w/ the construction of S:ROS.

That would be the only way to get them. Untill Sam gets back there, the site will be draped in secrecy as it can not be seen from the outside, and the airspace above the park is controlled by the USAF, which will most likely NOT allow overflights by civillian aircraft. Sorry, just going to have to wait for Sam to get back there.:)

I e-mailed Sam Marks. (unofficial guide to SF America) He has picts of the track and he says there are only footers now. No telling when he will get pictures up on his site, though.

Sam does have some pics of the track up at his site, but it is a pain to get to as it is an aol members page.

From the looks of the layout, it's going to be a long run from the front gate to this thing on opening day. Also, it looks like they left quite a bit of ground open between Batwing and Superman. I wonder what they will put along the new midway indicated on the drawing?
