Myrtle Beach property rezoned for amusement park, may carry Hard Rock name

The Horry County Planning Commission on Wednesday unanimously approved rezoning a plot of land that Orlando developer Jon Binkowski wants to use to develop a $200 million theme park in Myrtle Beach.

Hard Rock Café International, the Orlando-based restaurant-and-entertainment giant, is lending its name and look to the park, according to Binkowski.

Hard Rock Amusment Park? That sounds like it may be interesting. Think of the Rock N Rollercoaster, but even better;)

I hope this gets done in the next few years, A Hard Rock Cafe' and Amusment Park in Myrtle would rock!(no pun intended). maybe it'll have some egyptian theming, since the Hard Rock there is a Pyramid......

EDIT: Another reason I'd like to see this is because i'd like for the Myrtle Beach Pavalion to stay where it is, and if this is out on 501, maybe they won't go and move the Pavalion to Broadway, right down the road:)
