Memorabilia you'd love to have

If you could have something from an amusement park (defunct or not) to have in your home what would it be? I have always thought that it would be pretty cool to have an old bumper car, perhaps a turnstyle, but for some reason, the most irresistible item for me is those light bulbs like those in the arms of Troika Troika Troika at CP. The may be ordinary light bulbs, but for some reason they just strike my fancy. :) So what one item do you just "lust" after and wish you had one of in your house?

I'd like that Xcelerator front car shell that was used for testing. Its used as theming under the ride right now.

Xcelerator-
0-82 in 2.3 seconds! =Wow!

A Intamin hyper train sitting in my living room would be great. Seating for four in the most comfy seats I can think of. I could even add cup holders.

-----------------
All I need is 4.5 million bucks and a half a mile long sliver of land and maybe someone could build me my very own Shivering Timbers. ;)

I'd like to score a section of Arrow track or a piece of King Cobra from PKI, but I know it will probably never happen. Ive got a "Welcome IAAPA" button from a CP ride op. Its another piece for the collection.

"I own you!"
"SUCKA!!!!!!!"
-quotes I have been known to exclaim on coasters.

A Raging Bull chair!!!!!!!!!

Those are possibly the most comfortable chairs I have ever sat in!

The Beast entrance sign sure would look good hanging on my wall :)

I think I related my story of almost getting the Beast entrance sign in another thread...

I think a cool thing to have would be a complete, say, 5-foot-long section of wooden track. For example, say they tear out the wooden coaster at Raceworld. Just cut out a section of track that's fairly close to the ground. You could use it for a garden design or like a fence.

I would absolutley *love* to have a car from the old blue Kennywood Racer train. The design with the different color dots all over it. What I'd do with it, I have no clue. :)

I'd like to have a B&M seat from an inverted coaster. I would put padding on it, hang it from my ceiling and sit in it to watch TV. If that didn't work out, I would be happy to have a car manufactured by Philadelphia Toboggan Company.
I'd like to have 2 millennium flyer trains (from Lightning Racer), then me and my friends could race down the street in them, (like Lightning Racer).

Vipper, I think you would have to live in a steel-framed house to support a B&M inverted car...

Good idea though!

I guess if it was in a basement, you could put it on a steel post. If it was a foot tall or so, it'd be the same as hanging from the ceiling.

i would love to have and Intamin Inverted coaster car, a piece of Intamin box track, or a rollercoaster wheel.. A brake would be cool, and so would an LIM.

So...you can't handle a rollercoaster huh? Well...you ARE the Weakest Link! Goodbye!

Definetly a Cedar Point garbage can. I see no reason why I would have trouble getting ahold of one.

I wish I could have all of Millennium Force in my house but it is not that big and I don't think CP will part with it (darn). I would like to have a wheel off of Revolution, Magnum, X, Millennium Force. Don't ask why, I just would.

VISIT IT!

You can actually go to Knotts this weekend and buy one of the stagecoach horses if you'd like. Thats got to be a pretty unique souvenir. And no this doesn't mean the stagecoach ride is closing since its an annual tradition.

Probably a used wheel from Raging Bull. That and the test chair sitting outside the line. And one of those signs they put outside the queue when the line goes past the entrance wouldn't look too bad next to that test chair. ;)

Take one home in a backpack. I almost got away with one of dejavu's maintenece signs.

"What is it that no man wants to have yet no man wants to loose?"
"Holy Bogglers Batman I've got it the answer is a Lawsuit."

I'd like an old bumper car, a whip tub, or maybe an old kiddy ride vehicle.

I've also always wanted a carousel horse and I've often thought it would be cool to have a band organ!

-----------------
I started out with nothing and still have most of it left.

I would commission B+M to build a single seat turning car that I can go around the house in. If I didn't have to go to school, I would never have to walk again.

Seriously though, I would want a classic Prior and Church Train. I would take each car off the train and use it in a furniture set:).

How many rides must a man go on, before you may call him a fan?
