IOA or BG:TB which would you choose?

Well I have the option of either going to Bush Gardens Tampa Bay or Islands of Adventure. Which one do you think is better of the two. I am going to spring break and I'm a big coaster lover more than anything else. Please give me advise so I chose the best one. And both is not an option I tried that with my parents numerous of times.

Of course IOA better rides, better park. Unless you want to see lots of animals then you no what to choose.

IOA -- it's very cool. Almost everything at IOA is better than BG:T...

I'd Rather Be Riding Rollercoasters

I'd say Islands has the better coasters, but remember there are only 3! If you are looking for volume, go for BGT - and I'm certainly not saying the coasters are poor there at all, no way! Montu is the best inverted I've been on, no contest. I haven't had the privilege of going on Gwazi, but that's something to consider: IOA does not have a wooden coaster, if you like them a lot. Enjoy your trip!

IOA offers the better combination of rides but I loved BGT too.

Duelling Dragons vs Montu - DD Barely! I Love Montu!
Hulk vs Kumba - Hulk cant beat the first 30 seconds or though Kunmba is vintage B&M
Gwazi vs ? - No Wood at IOA so Gwazi wins
Akbars Adventures vs Adventures of Spiderman - No Mas! Spiderman all the way
Tanganyika Tidal Wave vs JP River Ride - Jurassic for the theming but a River Rides a River Ride
Python vs Flying Unicorn - Unicorn by a nose.
Scorpion vs ? - Schwarzkopf classic.
Stanley Falls vs Dudley Do Right - Go Dudley.

Ride for Ride. Attraction for Attraction. IOA comes out on top BUT if you get the chance dont pass up a chance to visit BGT.

I know ... Im no help right? Plan a longer holiday.

Ouch...that's a choice nobody should ever be forced to make. But if it were me I'd go with BGTB. IOA is great, but they really only have the DD and Hulk IMO, since I was very disappointed with Spidey. BGT has the Kumba, Montu and Gwazi, as well as the surprisingly-good Scorpion. IMO BGTB easily has IOA beat in coasters and there's lots more non-coaster stuff to do there. But I will say that you won't lose with either park.

I would choose IOA, just because of Spiderman, Hulk, and Dueling Dragons. Not to mention it's excellent suppourting cast of Dudley Do Right, Jurassic Park and Popeyes rapids ride and all of the DR. Seuss rides! What a selection!!

Tough choice, they are both superior parks. But I would say IOA. There is no other park like it. The theming is incredible. It doesn't have a lot of rides, but the ones it has are awesome. Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls is simply the best water flume ride I have been on...period! The Hulk is a top 5 coaster to me. Dueling Dragons is a lot of fun...ride up front...you're in for a big surprise. Spiderman is in a class by itself. There's nothing else like it. I guarantee you'll want ot ride it more than once before the day is over.

I would have to say, go to both parks, because like many other things in Florida, it is too close to call

I agree. Make time for both, you wont forget it. Also, if you could squeeze in SeaWorld too. Kraken is da bomb!!!
