Geauga Lake Rocket Ships Ride

I have a burning question that one of you might be able to answer: Who manufactured the Geauga Lake rocket ships ride?
From looking at an old photo of it, I'd would guess that it was built by Traver. It originally had the seaplanes on it. R.E. Chambers, who took over the bulk of Traver's business, built rocket ships to replace the planes in the 1930's. Most parks that had this ride went that route, with the exception of Euclid Beach. They built a set in house. *** This post was edited by Dutchman on 3/22/2001. ***
Did not the Rocket Ships come from EPB to GL?
The Rocket Ship Ride from EBP was razed after the park closed. I believe the Humphrey family may have kept a couple of the tubs from it,as they were constructed in their own shops. They ride at GL was built for them in ther early part of the 20th century.
The video Greetings from Bertrand Island Amusement Park shows some great scenes of this type of ride in operation with airplanes and with the rocket ships.

The Geauga lake Rockets were indeed built in the 20's. They occupied the location where the Boomtown is now, across from the Big Dipper Station. The Carousel was theRE AT one time too, as well as an Eyerly Rock-O-Plane (that was moved to Wyandot Lake in 1984) All 3 got moved for the Wave Pool.

The Rockert Ships were being refurbished in 1995, when the main tower got damaged. Fr some reason, they never put it back in. I have asked maintenance, and they want it back, as well as the park...will it ever happen? Probally not.
