Well my first six flags visit is done. I was actually going down there expecting lines to be extremely long. I was so wrong. The place was dead. Entering the park the only thought I had in my mind was NITRO.

NITRO-5 laps. I can't believe I got five laps on this thing. There was a max 20 minute wait just about all day. One of the coolest things about this is the cars. NO SEAT BELTS! Thank you walter and claude for building such easy seats to get in and out of. The ascent up the lift hill is actually quite quick. The first drop is simply amazing. It's just a floater the whole way down. The first half of the ride is airtime city. I noticed a trim before the turnaround that wasn't being used. Then you go into the helix that is really intense. After that it's the blocks then into the bunny hops for some more air before the station. This ride is simply amazing, another b&m masterpiece. There were some times that the line was extremely close to walk on. It would probably have been one if there wasn't so much stacking going on.

Batman-1 lap. Not a bad ride for an inverted but definitly not my favorite inverted.

Medusa-2 laps. The first floorless I have ever ridden and I was quite impressed. Every transition and inversion on this is soooo smooth. But it is kind of funny the way they tried to theme a huge teal roller coaster named medusa into western theming(unless i'm missing somthing).

Mine ride-1 lap. Definitly one of the faster mine rides I was on. The lap bars seem to fit a little better then most of the other ones.

Skull mnt-1 lap. Not bad for a dark ride. The lighting needs much more work but basically a kiddie coaster in the dark.

Scream macheine-1 lap. I think has to be one of the most underrated rides around. This was the first big arrow multi I was ever on and I have to say I was quite pleased. Definitly a different experience then the b&m's but different doesn't mean worse.

Viper- closed all day

Chiller- closed on and off but i'm not a big fan of going in reverse through loops.

Rolling Thunder- Just didn't take the time. I'll catch it on the next trip.

Other notables- Caught the dino ride. Pretty cool sim ride. Frisbee-first one I had ever rode was really impressed. Evolution was running but the line was too long. The weather was pretty cold all day so I guess that explains the short lines.

How late did you stay?? It was pretty cold,I left around 7 because after three rides on Nitro i started loosing the feeling in my hands! This is just my opinion but,do get a ride on Rolling Thunder next time you are there.I think even though it is pretty much warped and neglected, the air time is fantastic for people who love airtime like i do.On a normal day,it would be the first ride of the day for me because i can't stand waiting in a long line when i first get to the park.I have to agree with the Ace member i spoke to too,Nitro will have to be the last ride of the day for me because all others will be dissapointing after a ride on that!Except Medusa,i will always enjoy that no matter what.Viper and chiller are definately no big deal and,way to short! You are rite about scream machine being underrated,it gives great g's and, even though there is only airtime off the first drop,it is still a good ride even though you do get banged up a bit but, pushing your head back definately helps. As for batman,i am going to try talon at Dorney this year so,i'm sure i will think the same of it batman after talon but,for now it's just a bit of coaster variety and still has a great feel.I have only been on one other inverted and that's the Great nor easter in wildwood which is seriously painful!

We were there til about 730. We just couldn't stand the cold anymore plus I had to make the 2.5 hour drive back to pa. I felt bad about it because nitro was really close to a walk on about that time. We could have probably got another five rides on that time.
