It's official... the fourth Fall Affair event at Holiday World will be Saturday, September 26. ERT on three of the best wood coasters in the world. And yes, Pilgrims Plunge will be open that day, weather permitting!

Details to come...

Note: No apostrophe in Pilgrims Plunge.

Don't forget to invite Cupcake the Clown! And Elvis...

Looking forward to it! :)

Really, Moosh? Or are you just toying with us? ;)

He'll be so busy with Magic Mountain, that I don't know how he'd find time to come to this event.

Me, toying? I guess you'll just have to wait and see. If I'm at the event, I wasn't toying ;)

Yes, everytime I'm at Magic Mountain I run into Moosh. No, wait! I haven't been there in ten years, either!

But thanks, Jeff and Paula. We had a blast last year, so I'm marking my calendar right now.

Reservations made.

So what's considered weather permitting for Pilgrims Plunge? Above freezing?

Last visit to Magic Mountain was at least10 years ago....No Moosh sighting though.

I have a feeling Jeff's not a Polar Bear Club kind of guy...he said something on a recent podcast about Raging Rapids not being open in September. Wrong.

Yes, unless there's lightning in the immediate area, we plan to have Pilgrims Plunge open whenever Holiday World is open.

Cold, wet coaster enthusiasts. Mmmmmm. :)

I would love to make this, but we will be at Disney then for free dining.

Quick question. "Non-members may join the club or pay $34.00 for the event." So basically it's open to everyone, as long as they register?

I call Cedar Point my home park even though I live in the Chicago Suburbs.

Yeah, anyone can come, you just pay a few bucks more if you're not a CB Club member.

Damn my well-rounded step-daughter! Marching band on Friday and Cross Country on Saturday!

Well maybe I'll hit it in a few years once she graduates. :)

Not to sound like a kill-joy, but am I reading right that there is only a half hour of ert on the voyage?

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Trust me when I say it's more than you'll need. Last year with three trains running, most of the seats were empty by the time we were done. I clocked in I think ten laps, and body was really pissed off about it by morning.

Questions on logistics. I see registration is only at the gate until 10:30. Is there a way to arrive after that and still be able to register somewhere else or are you SOL if you arrive after 10:30. Just wondering if arriving later in the day is an option.

If you're pre-registered, you can pick up your tickets at guest services.
