Walt Disney Co. film-unit Chairman Dick Cook resigned less than a month after the company announced its $4 billion acquisition of Marvel Entertainment Inc. This does not bode well for the future of the Pirates franchise, according to Depp:

As for the fourth planned "Pirates" movie, Depp said while he has a potential deal in place that will depend on how good the script is, his passion for the project at the moment has been severely dampened by the news that Cook will no longer be around.

"There's a fissure, a crack in my enthusiasm at the moment," Depp said. "It was all born in that office."

It'll still happen the money he is making off of those movies is too good to pass up.

Maybe, but Johnny Depp isn't exactly your 'normal' actor.

Depp isn't about the money. Even if he does have a hand-made boat he likes to spend his time on.

Did you see him on Letterman when that gangster movie came out? He said he doesn't watch his own films, and that he mostly just enjoys the process of acting. With all of the sitting around in filmmaking, that surprises me.

Must be why they are so rough then haha. I don't understand why someone would be involved in something and then not enjoy what they did, but to each his own. I'm refering to Depp since Toomer has motion sickness.
