Curved or Straight Drops...Which Do You Prefer?

This refers to mostly B+M coasters. What kind of their drops do you prefer...the straight or the curved? I like the straight drops like on Ice Dragon. They feel like they are dropping. The curved drops don't feel like you are dropping. What do you people prefer?

I prefer the straight drops to. The straight drops seem to have more airtime than the curved drops.
Dont get me wrong i do like curved drops like on the meanstreak and other coasters but i prefer the straight drops instead

I'd take a straight drop over a curved drop anyday. I'm an airtime fanatic, so although I enjoy curved drops, nothing beats a straight drop.

I prefer straight drops on B&M coasters like Apollo's Chariot or Raging Bull, but I like curved drops on their looping coasters. With the shoulder harnesses you don't (I don't at least) get much airtime anyways. I really like curved drops on inverted coasters because it gives way to a much more chaotic feeling. I really think Talon's drop is going to be wicked!
I like straight drops on B&M sitdowns and curved ones on their inverts.

Straight drops:)
I like curved drops on looping coasters (Viper @ SFMM)but I like straight drops on B+M's coasters.
I haven't been on a B&M straight drop! Been on RRevenge, Batman, Hulk, Dragons, Montu & Kumba!

Montu's the best. Kumba's is fun, but you can't see much & no airtime.

The only s.drop coasters I've been on are the local Boomerang, Luna Park Sydney's Big Dipper (45 degs steep, bleeeh), Seaworld Aust's Arrow Loop Corkscrew. That is all & they're all crap. MF's looks like the best of the lot.
Those of you who have ridden Superman:Krypton Coaster know what I mean when I say the best drop is the curving, straight drop! It is possible to have both. ;)
Both are great, Straight drops can be good but a curved drop where the biggest part of the turn is at the base of the drop, or where the full turn is very sharp right at the top of the drop are all awesome drop styles. The gradual curve down the entire drop though isn't very exciting, My favorite is the drop that has a corkscrew in the middle of it though (DF)

i like medusa wests drop all of a sudden you just plummet and get loads of airtime and its straight so im going to side with that.

Definately straight - more freefall, more airtime, all that. Curved drops really seem to take some of the excitement out of the ride. Of course, there are plenty of drops that start curved and then dive into a straight - best of both worlds!

Definetely straight... A great example is Kraken's first drop, can you say airtime city!

I much prefer the straight drops like Mantis' to the curved drop on Kumba. Straight drops tend to be steeper and better at producing the 'stomach feeling' that is the most important quality in the first drop.

I think Roar has a nice drop on it, but I'll take the Medusa over it any day. But as far as turning and droping the Grizzley drop is good, (the only good part of it) But I have think a good score for a twisting drop was the Crystal Beach Cyclone, and the twisting straight drop of the Aeroplane. But the best twisting drop in the world is on the WEM Mindbender twisting down at that angle is nuts, cant wait to try Taz's Texas Tornado
