Celebration City hopes to bring back young people to Branson

Celebration City, a new Herschend Family Entertainment Corp. amusement park with three roller coasters and a laser show, is set to open May 1. At $40 million, it’s the corporation’s biggest single investment in Branson. The park is designed to attract younger visitors and families with new things to do in an area that has seen a decline in tourism.

When I mentioned a possible visit to Branson in the future, my husband came back with "what for? It's all kidde or old people stuff." I showed him Silver Dollar City and Celebration City. Still working on him.
Now...if I can find a nice drag racing strip nearby....

Well I think the closest thing that you will find to that is the Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, KS. There might be some "local" drag strips in the region, but no NHRA tracks.
