Rachel Hawes, her family and Cedar Fair have mutually agreed to resolve the legal claim regarding her injury from a loose object that separated from the ride, according to the family's attorney.

The settlement had to be quite a bit. The story mentions she will need medical care for her injuries the rest of her life.
Glad they settled. I was worried about how a trial would go especially since IIRC they accused Cedar Point of destroying evidence by removing the brake run track for the refurbishment. I also think the TTD trains days are numbered, since I am pretty sure they were kept on site in the event they would be considered evidence for a trial. At least it was settled.
Counting down the days until I'm back at Cedar Point, the one and only place to be.
