BeastBuzz 2014

We are going to be bringing some kids along.. ranging from 6 months to 5 to 10 to 12. Do I need to get all of them memberships? I assume the 6 month old doesnt need one at least.

As far as I'm concerned, we don't accept kids under 13 online, so they're good.

Ticket sales are online only.

Gracias!

Looking forward to this event Jeff!

Does each attendee need to be a member of a club, or can you bring a guest with your membership?

^I was just about to ask the same thing.

Historically we've required that everyone 13 or older be a member of a club that requires $25 more annually (family memberships still count).

And since additional family memberships are just $5, I've always been glad to sign up the kids under age 13 as well...even just to be sure I'm covered for other event possibilities.

Thanks Jeff, good to know. I'll make sure any guests that I bring have a club membership as well.

Will there be a cutoff day for ticket purchasing??

I don't think so, but I wouldn't wait until the last minute either.

Question. My dad doesn't ride roller coasters anymore due to his back and recent surgeries. Since I have a membership with a coaster club, would I be able to take him along through the event such as the walk back tour and such as a guest?

Everyone has to be a member of some club, otherwise anyone could show up, and the ERT would't be very E.

It is unfortunate that family memberships are still only available through the mail. There is something about having to print out the form, retrieving the checkbook, addressing an envelope and finding a stamp that demotivates us from rejoining.

I definitely understand that, but relative to the total number of memberships on an annual basis, it's a lot of work to bring it online. I'm not saying it will never happen, just that it isn't a huge ROI at the moment.

The Pavilion is open for lunch from 2:30 to 4:30 and the meal is served from 3-4. How is this going to work with the Banshee, Diamondback, and Beast behind-the-scenes photo opportunities schedule at the same time?

I didn't even notice that. The times changed a few times... let me ask.

OK... Schedule updated!

So I see a little ditty on the Beastbuzz page and someone else asked, but I didn't see a specific yes or no answer, so I'm going to ask.

"Attendees must be members of a coaster enthusiast club that collects at least $25 in membership fees each year."

Does that mean my GOCC family membership qualifies us or do we have to have a Coasterbuzz membership?

You're good.
