Seriously though, I guess I'm gonna have to renew the membership (and get one for everyone else). Still have to do family memberships by mail, huh?

Can members bring a guest? I'm doubting that the answer is yes because it is not mentioned, but perhaps it's an oversight?

I don't know if we ever discussed this.

If you love THE BEAST so much, why did you run to fire hawk first thing? Seems pretty disrespectful to the grandad of modern day wooden coasters.

Besides, the first drop goes into a tunnel. It's the best first drop tunnel of any tunneled first drop, ever, anywhere, in the history of first drops with tunnels. Some might even call it a great great tunnel, or a great great first drop with a great great tunnel, or a great great first great great drop.

Hello. My name is Shawn! Looking forward to attending this event for the first time this year. Anybody know if GOCC members can attend this event? That's the only concern I have since I'm a member with them.

The beast runs 4 trains and has short lines. Firehawk has slow loading and long lines.

Has anyone ever done the behind the scenes tour of The Beast? That seems like a lot of fun! I know you guys are having your own conversations here and I apologize for interrupting.

Great photo ops like this and this and, well, many of these.

^ Wow! They let you do the tour while in operation? That is totally Awesome!! I always thought it would be cool to get a picture of the first hill and the ground turns like you have.

Yeah, if you're into photos/video it's a great opportunity. Looking forward to updating my collection with some better shots.

My walkback tour that day was for just my cousin and I. It was very exciting, but I forgot my camera. Still, It was really cool to see the ride from that perspective. Don Hilbig, the parks PR guy, told us a few very interesting tidbits about the ride that I never even knew that I would enjoy hearing about. I recommend it 100%.
