I heard that a couple of people lost their prosthetic legs on Serial Thriller at then Geauga Lake. It was its first year then. The first one was never found and is presumed to be in the lake and the other came off in the barrel rolls and nearly landed on the queue.
ive lost a flip flop on top gun at PGA and oddly enough it was on the helix over the water.

Nope, whenever I go to a park wearing sandles they always have a strap on the back, and my shoes (despite that they were like not tied very well, stayed on on Raptor and Power Tower.

Apparently the loss of prosthetic legs on suspended coasters is not unusual. I was talking with some ops supervisors from Sea World of Texas and they told me of a case were somebodies leg came off and proceeded to clobbber some of the riders behind them. Now there is a real legal mess.Ouch!
I almost lost my wallet on Alpengeist.

I just went to Carowinds yesterday and I *LOST* my wallet on Hurler!

I'm okay though, I told them my address, etc. and the description of my wallet. They did a track check on Hurler this morning and found it; they are mailing it to me.

Call me a lucky son of a ***** especially when I had $225 worth of season passes in my wallet.

I was riding Kumba last summer....front seat...and the guy next to me had a baseball het in with the visor in front (big mistake). Halfway through the ride, it flew off and soared up and over the first car.

I lost one of my flip flops on the great nor'easter at wildwood, NJ. It came off on the top of the weird heart-shaped element.
I've never had the experience of losing a shoe, probably because I alway wear lace up tennis shoes to the park.

I once caught a hat on Gwazi. Blew off the head of the guy in front on me, and my hand just darted up all by itself and grabbed it. I couldn't do it again if I deliberately tried a hundred times.

I never have figured out why people wear caps on coasters. They wouldn't expect to be able to keep a had on in a hurricane, but on a roller coaster with a wind blast just as face they wear the hat.
I was waiting in line for the new Rugrats Reptar ride, and I saw someone lose a hat. Now how stupid would you have to be to lose your hat on that ride? TAKE IT OFF!!!! Might help.

Whenever I ride any coaster I give my hat to the ride op. Usually they are nice enough to give it back, but I had a UK hat at PKI once and this ******* wouldnt give it back to me! I had to get his supervisor!
